The City selected CAS to design improvements to the Covered Bridge Drive bridge over Williamson Creek, just west of Oak Hill. The existing double 10-foot by 8-foot box culverts did not have sufficient flood conveyance capacity, overtopping the bridge during high flows. CAS developed design alternatives, then produced construction plans to prevent roadway flooding in the 25-year ultimate development future conditions, while ensuring that the construction followed the environmental regulations for the Barton Springs Contributing Zone
